1972 BSA ROCKET 3
Here we have a stunning piece of history with this BSA Rocket 3. The previous owner has spent over £4000 restoring this bike with receipts to show. The bike has matching numbers and will make a great addition to anyones collection. The BSA Rocket 3 was a twin to Triumph’s Trident. Basically rebadged, it had a 740cc in-line 3 cylinder engine achieving 58 hp @ 7,500rpm’s. Weighing it at just under 500lbs, it performed well. Even though it competed against the more advanced Japanese bikes, it managed to set several Daytona speed records that held until 1971 when the Kawasaki Z1 beat them. It had a top speed of 115mph and was built between 1968-1975. To view or reserve this bike call us on 01744 616161.
