There are two major road links to MMC, the M62 and the A580 East Lancs Road. The directions below are taken from these points and we have avoided the busy town centre. Anyone travelling from the M6 needs to head east onto the M62 or the A580 East Lancs Road.

If you are travelling from the M62
Exit M62 at Junction 7 – follow the A570 towards St Helens. Pass straight across the first roundabout .Take the first exit of the next roundabout signposted for Thatto Heath. Take the first right into “Sherdley Road”. Turn left at the “Sutton Arms” public house into Elephant Lane. Pass through 2 sets of lights and at the third set turn right into Thatto Heath Road – we are about 500 yards on the left next to the Springfield Public House.

If you are travelling from the A580 East Lancs Road
Exit onto either the A58, A571 or A570 whichever you come across first depending on which direction you are travelling from. Follow directions for the A58 Prescot Road. Proceed along Prescot Road towards Prescot, turning left at traffic lights into Lugsmore Lane which will be signposted to Thatto Heath. Continue along Lugsmore Lane which becomes Thatto Heath Road and MMC are on the right, behind Thatto Heath railway
station.

If you are travelling from the M57
Exit at junction 2 onto the A58 Prescot Bypass(Knowsley Park on your left) which becomes St Helens Road which then becomes Prescot Road in St Helens. Continue along the A58 Prescot Road making a right turn at the traffic lights into Lugsmore Lane. Continue along Lugsmore Lane which becomes Thatto Heath Road and MMC are on the right, behind Thatto Heath railway station.
